Hello my name is Veronica Desangles. This website is created on behalf of Mr. Elizalde's 10th grade english class.
A portfolio is normally thought of as a stack of boring papers stuck together for somebody to read. What you see here what we cal a 'digital portfolio.' In this website you will find some of my best works during the school year and my reflection on the piece. These pieces of work show how I am able to convey emotions through my writing. For the two written pieces they show what the object written about is trying to convy. The video shows our first time experimenting with a multimedia project. It would be nice to continue this portfolio because I feel that it increases a students literary understanding. If a teacher were to stumble upon this website they should take notes because I do believe that this is a great way for students to learn more about language arts. I myself need to work on explaining myself in words a little better.
The first essay is the written report on the International Interview project. This report shows how English people live when compared to Americans. The second report is on the book World War Z by Max Brooks. I like this book because of the high action and adventure. Also because once again the human race finds a way to survive. The third is the multimedia project for the IIP and has my frien Quinton Beverly speaking on behalf of Steve Reiman.
